A short biography
I have a PG diploma in Development & Sustainable Finance and an engineering degree in Biotechnology. Currently, I am working for one of the leading banks in India.
My passion lies equally in corporate & microfinance — this blog is my effort to share, understand for myself, and help others understand the things happening in these spheres. I will try to keep the content lucid, for it to be a helpful resource for someone new to the field.
That stated mission is now over twelve years old. A lot has happened since, and my newfound love is blockchain and the ways in which it is disrupting banking as we know it.
I am a banking professional, passionate about the disruptive impact of digital, the transformation journey, and the technology reshaping the BFSI industry — especially in Trade Finance and Transaction Banking. Over the years, I have worked with the largest companies in India and the United States.
The blog gets its name from a small confession: in matters of finance and tech, I like to be the test subject of my own experiments. The guinea pig, learning out loud, in public — and inviting you along for the ride.
